DIY Hack: Thinking about buying that $60 Kylie lippie? Think again

That bedazzled Candy K liquid lippie sure does look amazing... I mean who wouldn't want that stunner displayed on their makeup vanity tables. Look at it, it sparkles, it's baby pink and just perfection all around... however this will also set you back $60 during the Kylie Cosmetics birthday launch. Yes, you read that right - $60 -- and I don't even think it has swarovski crystals surrounding it! Kylie Jenner and not to mention dozens of beauty bloggers have teased us in snapchat stories showing off the baby pink and silver glitter themed collection, consisting of a makeup bag, ultra glow highlighters, velvet and matte kits, a birthday eyeshadow book, makeup brushes and glosses. This item in particular was not seen much besides when Kylie herself introduced it. The limited edition vial captured the attention of many (partly for it's astronomical pricetag) -- but you too can get this at a fraction of a cost using my DIY tips.

So let's move on -- flash back to a couple of months ago, when I decided to give a couple of my Kylie liquid lipsticks a "bling-over." I visited my local dollar store and saw rhinestone adhesive accents, and decided to give it a go. I remembered seeing Kylie's personal liquid lips bedazzled during the holidays and had always loved the idea.
I picked up several different designs and cut out various shapes, etc, to make sure they surrounded the lippie perfectly. Let me tell you this-- it cost about $3 if that and I received tons of compliments. See the before and after below:

I really love the way my DIY lippies came out and have also bedazzled some of my Mac ones. I don't plan on purchasing the $60 liquid lip but we all know that no matter the price tag - when it comes to Kylie Cosmetics, it will more than likely sell out, faster than we can refresh the website. It is Kylie we're talking about here! I'm here to make sure you don't break the bank and get the most for your hard earned cash.
While I won't be getting the bedazzled lip, I may try to score the cupcake lip gloss and maybe an ultra glow highlighter. All products will be available on kyliecosmetics.com.
